The Embassy of Vietnam in France and VietNuc will host the official launch ceremony of the VietNuc – the Vietnam Nuclear Professional Network at 10:00 AM on May 18, 2025, at its headquarters located at 61 rue de Miromesnil, 75008 Paris.
The event will be attended by H.E. Mr. Dinh Toan Thang, Ambassador of Vietnam to France; H.E. Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Ambassador and Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to UNESCO; alongside distinguished Vietnamese professionals and scientists working in the nuclear energy sector in France. Senior representatives from key Vietnamese ministries, universities, and research institutions will also participate virtually.
VietNuc is a professional network that brings together Vietnamese experts, engineers, and researchers currently based in France and working in various areas of nuclear energy—ranging from reactor engineering and nuclear safety to applied nuclear physics and radiation technology. The network aims to foster knowledge exchange, promote scientific collaboration, support training and research activities, and contribute to the sustainable development of nuclear energy in Vietnam. The launch ceremony will feature presentations on VietNuc’s mission, organizational structure, and strategic objectives, followed by discussions on the current landscape of nuclear energy development in Vietnam and the pressing challenges that require expert contributions from abroad.
This event marks a significant step in connecting overseas Vietnamese intellectuals with domestic institutions, helping to leverage international expertise in advancing a safe, modern, and sustainable nuclear energy sector in Vietnam.
